Scouring the gamut of reputable and secure online retailers for perfect photo toppers was like the quest for the Holy Grail but I managed to find three different types of photo cake toppers. The four-sided photo cube vase (you slide in 4 of your favourite photos and pop in some flowers) looks really unique. Finally, there is the elegant Swarovski crystal photo frame cake topper. It is fitted with a slender prong at the base, so the piece anchors securely into your wedding cake.

Do your homework early and order your photo wedding cake topper - weeks in advance - for delivery at the desired time. You may need to exchange for whatever reason, so don't leave it to chance. Do it early and avoid disappointment.
