I was trying to come up with a very memorable engagement proposal idea as my brothers all had really cool ones and I really needed to bring my "A" game. Not just for my girlfriend but for the rest of the family... hey its complicated.
She once told me that she always wanted to go up on a hot air balloon ride so I set it up. The ride was not a surprize but the engagement was. The pilot Scott from Westwind Balloon Co in Plymouth, Michigan got it all on tape and we've showed it to our family and friends a bunch of times.
Nobody has topped this one yet, none of my buds or family. Ha!
