Congradulations on your engagement. It's a great feeling when two people find love. My wife and I have been married for three and half years. What have helped us is loving each other and loving God. One scripture that comes to mind is Matthew 19:6. It says, "So that they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has yoked together let no man put apart." Have a wonderful marriage : )

What a wonderful couple you both make! My husband and I have been married for three years and it seems like we've been married for eight. We do everything together, like we did when we were dating. We were able to have a good courtship and during the courtship I was able to meet his family and friends and see how he interacted with those he was familiar with.

Now we are together we are best friends. I can not wait to get home and tell him all about my day and he tells me about his. We try to make time for each other everyday and this helps our marriage to be successful for the Bible says at Proverbs 15:22 "There is a frustrating of plans when there is no confidential talk, but in the multitude of counselors there is accomplishment".

We also keep in mind our role as wife and husband. I make sure I am aware of my role as the wife and I am well aware that God has placed my husband as head over me to instruct, guide, protect, and provide for me. I respect him very much and by understanding that he is head of this household our relationship flourishes because we have 1 pilot and 1 co pilot to the plane. And with this submission to his headship I win his love and adoration. Proverbs 18:24 says "Has one found a good wife? One has found a good thing, and one gets goodwill from Jehovah." And Proverbs 19:13b "and the contentions of a wife are as leaking roof that drives one away."

So understanding how we as wives can build up our household really makes me happy so I endeavor everyday to build my husband up therefore my household. And remember that we were a compliment for him and we were made for him so let us work on being just that each and every day. I wish you both so much love and happiness and please enjoy each day you spend in his arms and make each other your best friends. Congrats and hugs and kisses for the both of you and may your marriage be bleseed. (Ephesians 5:25 for the husband) :0)
