A good Photo Retouch Enhances and
Improves the Original Shot.
Not all images need a photo retouch, especially someone as young as 16 years of age. However, all singers in the music industry get retouched even for the slightest blemishes, because the final retouched result is mass produced. The images are used either for posters, advertising or on the cd cover.
The picture of the young musician below, mainly needed to be correct for the distortion the camera lens created.
As you can see, in the before shot her head looked warped and elongated, her shoulders were too narrow and even though she is already young and flawless, I was asked by my client who does work for 'Sony Records' to clean up her skin and reduce the intensity of strong lines on her face. Digital photo retouching doesn't have to be obvious. A subtle difference is the best result.
