Here's the wedding planning timeline for 2 to 3 months prior to your wedding day. It is important to keep yourself fit and active at least 3 months before the wedding day.

Don't stess out about your weight, eat healthy meals and keep your meal sizes to moderate proportions. A smaller meal proportion is the key to drop those extra kilo's and stay in good shape.

Be sure to read the 6 to 12 month checklist first to ensure you have a realistic overview of what's to come and how much work is ahead of you, regardless of how manys months you have to plan your wedding.

As a bride to be, communicate affectively to your bridal party and family so things run smoothly in the lead up to the wedding. The wedding timeline was specifically created to help the bride and her bridal party plan their own wedding.

Find time to pamper and treat yourself with regular beauty treatments, do lunch, go frivolous shopping for girly things. Do what ever it takes to relax and keep happy.

Wedding Checklist

	First wedding dress and bridal attire fitting.
	Finalise honeymoon reservations.
	Find out about deadline for submitting wedding announcements with your local newpaper.
	Enquire about a marriage license.
	Pay the printer for wedding invitations, thank you notes, wedding programs and name place cards.
	Send out wedding invitations.
	Place an order with the bakery for your wedding cake. By this stage you will have your guestlist count, as this determines the size of the cake.
	Purchase a wedding guest book.
	Review details with florist and place an order for the wedding ceremony floral arrangements.
	Place an order of the bridal bouquets. How many?
	Place and order for buttonholes, boutonieres etc...
	Purchase a ring pillow, bridal garters and toast goblets.
	Experiment with bridal hairdos and hairstyles with your hair stylist. Make sure to bring your bridal hair accessories and veil.
	Do a trial wedding day makeup with your bridal makeup artist.
	Send invitations for rehearsal and dinner.
	Organise a bridal shower.
	If you are using a wedding consultant, meet with them to review schedule.
	Start shopping for your trousseau.
	Shop for furnishings for your new home.
