The Marshmallow Fondant Recipe
Ingredients to make marshmallow fondant icing:

• Marshmallow 8 oz
• water
• icing sugar
• Shortening
• cornstarch

Add about 1 - 2 tablespoons water into the bowl; micro for 30 seconds.

Take it out, stir and microwave again for another 30 seconds.

Repeat step for another 3 times until all dissolve and looks like this.

Add in icing sugar and stir.
|
5.
|
Pour mixture onto a generously greased (with shortening) work board.
|

Knead mixture the way you would knead bread dough.
|

Important tip: before kneading, you definitely need to grease your fingers, hands and palms ith the shortening as well.

Grease ready fondant thoroughly with shortening and wrap fondant with plastic wrapper tightly and refrigerate overnight in a container.

When you are ready to use fondant, you need to microwave it for a bit, 10 minutes, then roll on a surface that already sprinked with corn starch.

As there will be shortening on the fondant, before rolling you might want to knead a bit with the corn starch.

It is not hard to roll the fondant; I always have fun.

Frost you cake first before covering with the fondant.
