Having over 25,000 species, the orchid comes in many guises, all of them breath-taking, yet delicate. The most common household Orchids are Phalaenopsis, Cymbidium, Dendrobium, Vanda, Paphiopedilum. The Orchid flower symbolises: Love, Beauty, Refinement, Beautiful Lady, Chinese Symbol for Many Children and Charm. Some believe that the spots on orchids represent the blood of Christ, which makes Orchid floral arrangements glorious wedding church decorations at the altar and wonderful floral centerpieces at the reception.
